Welcome to the first day of the Scarlet Read-Along! Jessica and I are really excited that you've decided to join us. If you haven't signed up yet, it's not too late! Just head on over HERE (the Scarlet Read-Along tab at the top of the blog) and add your name to the Linky (that page is also where all updates will be posted, so if you forget the schedule at any time, you can refer to that page).
For today, all you need to do is read the first chapter of Scarlet. That's it. Tomorrow, you can write a post with your first thoughts, or comment either here or on Jessica's First Thoughts post.

We have some bookmarks to give away to some lucky participants in the read-along. Here's how you can snag some:
· You earn 1 entry for signing up. This is the only mandatory entry.
· You can earn 2 entries per week by linking us up to your weekly post about your thoughts on the book.
· You can earn 5 entries by linking us up to your review. It can be on your blog or on Goodreads. Please do not post your review before November 30th so you don't spoil the book for the rest of the read-along participants!
Here are the rules:
1. You must be a participant.
2. You must be over 15 years old.
3. This is open to international followers.
4. This contest runs from November 1st through December 7th.
